Speights will miss the Warriors’ Friday game against the Nuggets. The Golden State center was originally charged with driving under the influence in Tampa, Fla., in August. He reached a plea deal on Monday to get it reduced to a misdemeanor charge of reckless driving.
Speights, whose playing time has decreased lately, averages only 9.6 minutes per game in March. He played 20 minutes per game in January.
He’s averaging 11.4 points and 4.7 rebounds in 17.2 minutes per game.
