Iguodala received seven of 11 votes from the media panel that selects the MVP . James received the other four votes.

Iguodala’s defensive presence was felt in every game, but he also averaged better than 14 points per game and 20.3 points after being inserted into the starting lineup in the Finals. He is the first player to be the Finals MVP without starting a single game during the regular season. He scored a season-high 25 points Tuesday.
