The business mogul said Monday on CNBC that any employee of his companies whose bracket is perfect by the Sweet 16 will get $1 million a year — for life.

Prior to the 2014 NCAA Tournament, Buffett offered the staggering $1 billion bounty on a perfect bracket, which was calculated to be nearly impossible. Or 1 in 92 quintillion to be more precise, according to one estimate.

Predictably, no one taking the challenge made it past the first round. In fact, the contest devolved into a court battle with Yahoo, the web site hosting Buffett’s challenge, and SCA Promotions over what CNN Money said was a squabble over who came up with the idea first.
Hopefully for someone on Team Buffett there will be better luck during this year’s Big Dance.
