But after logging many hours into the game, there is no denying the strength of the Witch Hunter Captain. Ultimately, this is a team game and this class has the best team mechanics. With him on the squad, the missions are much easier, even with the difficulty cranked up.

As a frontliner, the Witch Hunter Captain will need to either be healed or heal himself. Hunter’s Ardour will take care of this, giving Victor the chance to heal himself as he pushes the action. Players need to get lucky on critical hits, but when they use fast weapons to strike and aim for the head, they make their own luck.

Monsters are a problem for players. What makes the Witch Hunter Captain one of the best classes in the game is its ability to boost the damage of the entire party when tagging these targets. Templar’s Knowledge enhances this effect that is already borderline overpowered.
This is also one of the best bots to use when playing solo for this reason. Players can tag as another character and get the effect of Witch Hunt.
Weapons & Equipment
Getting red veteran items is always a goal for endgame players but the Witch Hunter Captain needs to prioritize this above most others. The rapier has a fast attack speed, but to get his class perks to work, Victor needs it to be even faster and with a higher crit chance.
After hacking away at a few enemies, players may even struggle to aim for headshots as their strikes become a blur on the screen. That’s a good problem to have; on higher difficulties, wiping out hordes of enemies or a boss in seconds is not unheard of.
