To be what the group needs, gamers need to get the best feats that Warhammer 40,000: Darktide has to offer. Better weapons and gear will help, certainly, but they can’t replace the ways that feats can fundamentally change the game for the character.
Level 5 Feat
The issue with Confirmed Kill and At Arm’s Length is that they are out of the player’s control. Enemies don’t kindly wait far away while they get shot. The entire point of elites is that they are inconsistent and pop up only at key moments.
Exhilarating Takedown is valid virtually all of the time, since every standard enemy has a weakness in the head and all others have weak spots at least somewhere on their person. This is the most consistent toughness regeneration of the three options presented, making the Sharpshooter one of the best operatives in the game.
Level 10 Feat
There is a fair split between Demolition Stockpile and Sniper. The tiebreaker goes to Sniper not because frag grenades are any less important, but because there are other feats that will take care of the grenade limitation issue. Sniper allows the Sharpshooter to kick back and deal more damage from safety.

Tactical Reload frankly doesn’t hold a candle to the others. Reload speed is fine, but the damage gained is not conequential enough with just a 20% speed increase. Those who have a PC that meets the requirements of the game will see high-resolution carnage while the other is a too moderate of a bump.
Level 15 Feat
Demolition Team is an unbelievable feat that allows both the Sharpshotoer and nearby allies to gain extra grenades. This averages out to about a free grenade during each fight for each player. The total damage output of those greandes is unreal.
Sharing designations with Bio-Optic Targeting is nice for teammates, but a little irrelevant; the window is already only five seconds and the Sharpshooter can likely kill every marked target in that timeframe. Covering Fire seems like a nice support ability, but the best support for characters that can’t use automatic weapons is killing enemies before they can deal damage at all instead of regenerating the hits they deliver.
Level 20 Feat
Camo Expert is the best choice here and it’s not even close. In a group, if players don’t move around, enemies will attempt to attack squadmates first. This frees up the Sharpshooter to focus solely on damage.

Unwavering Focus and Duck and Dive share the same flaw; they’re only effective against ranged attacks. With Camo Expert, players don’t have to dodge or used Vollery Fire against these attackers, then can just stand and shoot them. This feat alone is as good as any piece of gear that can be bought by raking in Aquilas.
Level 25 Feat
Stamina is essentially a dump stat for Sharpshooters who spend most of their time using primary fire anyhow, so Deadshot’s only drawback is hardly a penalty at all. The tradeoff is that every just feels like a laser and crit chance increases by a whopping 25%. After equipping better guns and cosmetics, this sends the Sharpshooter’s damage through the roof.
Frag Storm is good against elites and bosses but not much else, since lesser enemies get obliterated by frag grenades. One After Another, if it offered a flat 30% reload speed, would probably still not be as good as the other two choices, but making it only work after killing an elite makes the feat beyond weak.
Level 30 Feat
All three choices improve Volley Frire and give it an avernue to refresh. Sustained Fire focuses on damage absorption, but this has already been taken care of by Camo Expert. Counterfire highlights additional targets and thus allows players to make Volley Fire last much longer.
However, the champion of the three has to be The Bigger They Are… because it allows Volley Fire to work against bosses in addition to the usual suspects. The extra 50% da,age can speed up a boss fight so drastically that it ends before most of the squad knows it has begun.
